국민의힘 윤석열 대선후보의 '집권시 문재인 정부 적폐 청산 수사' 발언에 관련 더불어민주당 대전경제대전환위원회는 즉각 사죄를 촉구하고 나섰다.
더불어민주당 대전경제대전환위원회 위원장인 장종태는 11일 논평을 내고 "윤석열 후보가 지난 9일 모 언론과의 인터뷰에서 ‘집권하면 전 정권 적폐청사 수사를 할 건가’라는 질문에 ‘해야죠. (수사가)돼야죠’라고 답변했다. 이에 더해 특정 검사장 거취까지 언급해 마치 이미 집권한 듯한 모습마저 보였고 사실상 정치 보복을 예고한 것이나 다름없다"고 밝혔다.
이어 "국가를 운영하고 민생을 살필 능력이 부족하면 ‘말’이라도 가릴 줄 알아야 한다"면서 윤 후보는 현 정부에서 중앙지검장과 검찰총장을 지냈다. 누구보다도 불법과 비리를 잘 알고 있을 위치에 있으면서 재직 당시에는 손 놓고 있었다는 말인지 되묻지 않을 수 없다.아니면 없는 적폐라도 만들어 기획 수사하겠다고 겁박하는 것인지 분명히 밝히라"고 목소리를 높혔다.
