충남 공주시 ‘제5기 반포면 주민자치회 위원 위촉식’이 지난 11일 반포문화센터 다목적실에서 열렸다.
13일 공주시에 따르면 이날 위촉된 25명의 위원들은 지난달 공개모집과 공개추첨 과정을 거쳐 최종 선정됐다.
이들은 앞으로 2년간 주민총회 개최 및 자치사업실시 등 주민의 대표 기구로서 역할을 수행한다.
반포면 주민자치회는 충청남도 자치 시범사업인 충남형 주민주치모델 육성사업으로 선정돼 2014년 16개 읍면동 중 최초로 주민자치회로 출범됐다.
그동안 ▲반포면 힐링장터 개최 ▲철화분청사기 주민체험교육 운영 등의 성과를 이뤄내며 주민들의 호응을 얻었다.
김현중 신임 주민자치회장은 “제5기 반포면 주민자치회의 힘찬 출발을 신임 회장으로서 함께 할 수 있게 되어 매우 뜻깊다”며 “모든 주민자치 위원들의 지혜와 역량을 모아 반포면이 더욱더 성장하고 발전할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
김재철 반포면장은 “현재 공주시 16개 읍면동이 모두 주민자치회로 전환되었고, 가장 먼저 출범된 반포면 주민자치회의 사명감과 책임감 또한 매우 크다”며 “반포면 주민자치회와 함께 주민들이 시정에 참여해 중요한 역할을 수행하도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
