충남 미래차산업 발전을 위해 충남도의원들과 전문가들이 뭉쳤다.
‘충남 미래차 산업발전 모색을 위한 연구모임’(대표 방한일)은 15일 도의회 기획경제위원회 회의실에서 발족식을 가졌다.
이 연구모임은 도내 자동차산업 체질 개선과 미래차 산업 생태계 구축 방안 연구를 통해, 미래차 시장을 선점하고 수출역량 강화 및 일자리 창출을 모색하기 위해 구성됐다.
연구모임 대표는 방한일 의원(예산1·국민의힘)이 맡았고, 정광섭(태안2·국민의힘) 의원과 자동차 관련 기업인, 연구기관·단체 관계자, 대학교수 등 11명의 회원으로 구성됐다.
회원들은 이날 발족식 직후 가진 첫 회의에서 한국자동차연구원 정도현 연구전략본부장의 ‘미래자동차 동향분석을 통한 미래차 산업 생태계 구축 방안’주제발표 청취와 토론을 하고, 향후 운영계획에 대해서도 논의했다.
정도현 한국자동차연구원 연구전략본부장은 “국내 자동차 부품산업은 2019년 대비 2020년 부품기업의 67.2% 악화되고 있고, 2019년 부품기업의 매출액 대비 R&D투자액은 0.98%로 부품기업의 81.8%가 미래차 사업준비가 되지 않고 있다”며 “충남도가 선도적으로 자동차(부품) 사업의 생태계 구축을 위한 대비와 노력이 필요하다”고 말했다.
연구모임은 앞으로 도내 자동차 부품산업 생태계를 신속히 미래차 중심으로 혁신하고, 친환경·자율주행차 신시장을 선점하기 위한 혁신과제 발굴과 정책 마련에 주력할 계획이다.
방한일 의원은 “자동차 부품사의 미래차 경쟁력 강화를 위한 노력이 필수적인 만큼 미래차 신시장 선점 방안, 수출역량 강화 및 일자리 창출 방안을 모색해 실제 정책에 반영될 수 있도록 노력해야 한다”며 “도의회도 친환경 자율주행차 시장을 선점하기 위한 실효성 있는 정책 대안 마련을 선도적으로 강구하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 충남도는 올해 도내 자동차 부품사업 전환 촉진을 위해 9개 사업에 420억 원을 투입, 자동차 부품업체들이 미래친환경 자동차로의 패러다임 변화 속도에 발맞출 수 있도록 한다는 계획이다.
