국가철도공단과 한국철도공사가 합동 점검반을 구성해 다음달 25일까지 안전 점검에 들어간다.
이번 점검은 개통 전 시행한 각종 시험과 검사, 성능의 인수인계 여부와 개통 후 발생하는 보완사항 등 철도 시설물의 안전 위험요인에 대해 집중된다.
대상은 ▲대구선 동대구∼영천 복선전철 ▲장항선 탕정역사 ▲동해남부선 일광∼태화강 복선전철 ▲동해선 태화강∼신경주 복선전철 ▲중앙선 영천∼모량신호장 복선전철 ▲중부내륙선 부발∼충주 단선전철 ▲경의선 임진강∼도라산 단선전철화 ▲대구선 하양역사 등 지난해 마무리 된 8개 사업이다.
점검 결과 위험요인과 개선사항은 집중 분석해 관련 기준과 규정에 반영하고, 건설 중인 사업에 선제 적용 안전관리 선순환 체계를 구축한다.
양 기관은 "중대재해처벌법 시행 후 실시되는 첫 합동점검인 만큼 안전관리 책임을 한층 강화하고, 중대재해 예방과 열차 안전 운행을 위해 빈틈없이 점검하겠다"고 밝혔다.
