[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 서일준 국회의원은 해양수산부의 어촌활력증진지원 사업인 ‘포스트 어촌뉴딜 시범사업 ’에 장승포 권역이 선정되었다고 2일 밝혔다.
서 의원에 따르면, 포스트 어촌뉴딜 시범사업은 어촌 인구 증가를 위해 일자리 창출과 생활서비스의 기반을 구축하는 사업으로, 장승포동을 중심으로 능포동, 일운면 옥림항 일대를 대상으로 확정했다. 이 사업은 2025년까지 총 4년간 진행되어 국비 49억, 지방비 21억 등 총사업비 70억 원이 투입될 예정이다.
이에 따라 사업대상지인 장승포동은 지역 내 유휴공간을 활용한 생활서비스를 제공하여 어촌공동체 활성화를 추진하고, 능포동은 능포항을 중심으로 한 수산물 유통·판매를, 일운면은 어촌 관광 등을 중심으로 한 생활·경제서비스를 제공하여 인구 유입과 지역경제 활성화가 이뤄질 것으로 기대된다.
서일준 의원은 “우리 거제가 기존 어촌뉴딜300사업에 이어 포스트 어촌뉴딜 시범사업까지 연이어 선정된 것을 매우 기쁘게 생각한다”고 밝히고 “이번 사업은 장승포권역의 특색있는 어촌 자원을 활용한 일자리 창출과 경제 활성화에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다”고 말했다.
