브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= CJ가 중소벤처기업부, 창업진흥원과 함께 유망 스타트업의 성장을 지원하는 ‘창업도약패키지-씨앗(CIAT,CJ Innovated and Advanced Tech) 프로그램’ 2기를 모집한다.
씨앗 프로그램은 CJ제일제당, CJ대한통운, CJ ENM 등 6개 주요 계열사가 도약기(창업3~7년)의 스타트업을 선정해 육성하는 사업으로, 지난해 7월 론칭했다.
공모 분야는 △푸드&바이오 △로지스틱스 △엔터테인먼트&미디어 등 세 가지 영역으로, 총 22개의 협업 주제를 제시한다. 참가 신청은 이달 28일까지 K-스타트업 홈페이지를 통해 가능하며, 세부사항은 홈페이지 내 ‘2022년 창업도약패키지 창업기업 모집공고’를 통해 확인할 수 있다.
CJ와 창진원은 4월 중으로 선발을 완료하고, 5월부터 내년 3월까지 선정된 기업 10곳의 사업 구체화를 지원할 예정이다. 기업별로 최대 3억원의 사업화 지원금과 함께 총 10개월에 걸쳐 CJ계열사 사업과 연계한 단계별 맞춤형 멘토링을 받는다.
이를 위해 선정된 기업들은 4개월 동안 기술/서비스에대한 개발 및 검증을 하는 ‘PoC(Proof of Concept)’ 테스트를 거칠 예정이다. 이후 투자 유치 성공 가능성을 높일 수 있도록 기술 및 비즈니스 세미나와 네트워킹도 지원받는다.
선정된 기업들은 사업성과와 계획을 소개하는 ‘데모데이’를 통해 본격적인 투자 유치 기회를 얻는다. 해외 진출 가능성 등에 따라 글로벌 전시회 참관 기회와 함께 현지 투자사들과의 1:1 만남등의 지원도 받을 수 있다.
한편, 지난해 진행된 ‘씨앗 1기’를 통해 성장성이 검증된 스타트업 10곳이 선정됐으며, 오는 4월 ‘데모데이’를 앞두고 있다.
CJ그룹 관계자는 “씨앗 프로그램은 우수 스타트업이 본격적인 성장 궤도로 도약하는 밑거름 역할을 하고 있다”며 “유망 기업들이 혁신적인 성과를 낼 수 있도록 전폭적인 지원을 아끼지 않을 것이다”고 말했다.

The Seed Program was launched in July last year by selecting and nurturing startups in the leap phase (3-7 years of establishment) by six major affiliates, including CJ CheilJedang, CJ Logistics, and CJ ENM.
