브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 조원진 우리공화당 후보는 4일 윤석열 국민의힘 후보와 관련 "윤석열 후보는 정의와는 거리가 먼 정치검사였고 불의에 앞장 선 장본인임이 분명해졌다"고 비판했다.
조원진 후보는 이날 오전 9시 부산대 정문 앞 거리유세에서 "박근혜 대통령을 뇌물죄로 엮으려는 자에게 과거 태극기 집회에서 박영수·윤석열 특검 사무실 앞에서 공정한 수사를 촉구했던 것이 참으로 한탄스럽다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 "윤석열 후보가 박근혜 대통령 특검 전에 ‘일단 뇌물로 넣으면 (청와대를) 나갈 수 밖에 없다’는 발언과 ‘박근혜 대통령이 원래 재단을 운영하는 사람이다’, ‘뇌물을 재단법인으로 받아 먹었구나’라고 발언한 것은 그야말로 충격적이다"라며 "당시 윤석열 수사팀장이 얼마나 박근혜 대통령을 뇌물죄를 만들려고 했는지, 왜 특검수사에서 미르재단, K스포츠재단에 집착했는지를 알겠다"고 주장했다.
이어 그는 "국민은 세계 1등인데, 이재명 후보와 윤석열 후보 때문에 전세계에서 비난과 조롱을 받고 있다. 국민을 무시하고 이재명, 윤석열 같은 사람을 공천한 것을 절대 용서하면 안된다"면서 "대한민국의 진정한 주인인 국민께서 이재명, 윤석열 후보에게 국민의 회초리를 드셔야 한다"고 강조했다.
조원진 후보는 "저는 지난 5년간 문재인 정권으로부터 탄압을 받으면서도 한결같이 정의로운 대한민국, 자유대한민국을 지키기 위해 싸웠다"며 "대통령이 되면 반드시 전교조와 민노총이 없는 나라, 붉은 적폐가 없는 나라, 청년에게 희망이 있는 나라를 만들겠다. 정의로운 조원진을 꼭 선택해달라"고 지지를 호소했다.
한편 이날 조 후보는 오전 7시 30분 부산 연제구 연산로터리 아침인사를 시작으로 부산대 정문 앞 유세에 이어 오후에는 울산 롯데호텔 앞 유세, 울산 홈플러스 울산점 유세를 한 후 대구의 범어로터리, 서부정류장 유세를 이어가는 등 막바지 유세 강행군을 통해 영남권 유권자 표심 다지기에 나섰다.
