유문상 세종시 교육감 예비후보가 세종시 6-3 생활권 산울초중학교 설립에 대한 전면 재검토를 촉구하고 나섰다.
유문상 예비후보는 11일 입장문을 통해 "본래 6-3 생활권은 산울초등학교와 산울중학교로 분리 설립될 계획이었다"며 "장래 학생수 감소가 예측된다는 것을 이유로 교육부와 세종시교육청이 학급수를 조정해 초중통합학교인 산울초중학교 설립을 확정했다"고 밝혔다.
유 예비후보는 "이러한 교육부와 교육청의 미숙한 처리로 6-3 생활권 입주 예정자들이 근거리 학교를 두고 원거리 학교로 배정받을 수 있는 결과를 초래할 것"이라며 "초중학생의 성장 격차에 따른 생활지도 문제 등"을 지적했다.
