고양시가 이동식 자원순환가게인 ‘달리는 고양 재활용가게’를 4월부터 6개월간 시범 운영한다.
시는 장소에 구애 받지 않는 이동식 자원순환플랫폼(소형트럭)을 활용해 고품질의 재활용 자원을 회수하고 시민들에게 재활용품 분리배출에 따른 인센티브를 제공하고자 한다.

시는 작년 8월부터 12월까지 ‘고양 자원순환가게’를 시범 운영한 바 있다.
고양 자원순환가게는 약 4개월 동안 대화동 단독주택 지역에서 운영됐으며 짧은 기간임에도 불구하고 재활용품 배출에 따른 인센티브가 누적 18만 포인트 적립되는 등 시민의 높은 관심과 참여를 기록했다.
특히 배출된 재활용품목의 90% 이상이 무색PET여서 작년 12월부터 실시된 단독주택 지역 투명페트병 별도 분리배출 의무시행에 발맞춰 자원 재활용에 대한 시민의식을 개선하는 효과를 냈다.
자원순환가게 시범 운영 후 시는 가게 특성상 사업 장소에 제한이 있는 점을 보완하기 위해 ‘달리는 고양 재활용가게’를 운영한다.
달리는 고양 재활용가게는 매주 화·수·목 대화동 장촌초등학교 후문 부근 단독주택 지역(대화동2273-5)·고양시 여성회관 주차장·능곡동 행정복지센터 주차장에서 14시~17시 사이에 이용할 수 있다.

달리는 고양 재활용가게에 시민이 PET(무색, 유색, 판)와 플라스틱류(PE, PP, PS, OTHER)를 모아서 가지고 오면 일정 포인트로 적립 후 그 포인트는 고양시 지역화폐(고양 페이)로 전환 지급된다.
