브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 문재인 대통령과 윤석열 대통령 당선인이 오는 28일 오후 6시 회동을 갖기로 결정됐다.
청와대와 대통령직 인수위원회는 27일 오전 회동 일자를 동시에 발표했다.
박경미 청와대 대변인은 이날 오전 춘추관 브리핑에서 "청와대는 윤 당선인 측에 ‘가급적 이른 시일 내에 만났으면 한다’는 문 대통령의 제안을 다시 전했고, ‘국민의 걱정을 덜어드리는 게 무엇보다 중요하다. 의제 없이 만나 허심탄회하게 대화하자’는 윤 당선인의 응답을 전달받았다"고 밝혔다.
김은혜 당선인 대변인도 이날 브리핑을 통해 같은 내용을 전하며 "의제 없이 허심탄회하게 말씀 나누겠다는 게 두 분의 합의 사항이다. 이야기를 하다보면 코로나19, 어려운 국민, 우크라이나 사태가 경제에 미치는 악영향, 북한 도발 문제 등을 자연스럽게 이야기 나눌 수 있지 않을까 생각한다"고 설명했다.
김 대변인은 추경 논의나 집무실 용산 이전과 관련한 논의도 진행되는지 묻는 기자 질문에 "(논의가 이뤄질 것으로 )추정할 뿐"이라며 "두분이 허심탄회하게 말씀을 나누게 될 것"이라고 답했다.
또한 오는 28일 회동에선 배석자가 참석한다. 청와대 관계자는 "유영민 대통령비서실장과 장제원 당선인 비서실장이 동석할 예정이며 이들은 만찬도 같이 한다"고 전했다.
청와대와 언론 보도 등 회동 결정 배경에 대해 종합해보면, 이철희 청와대 정무수석과 장제원 실장간 회동을 놓고 물밑접촉이 계속 진행돼 왔고 지난 26일 저녁 최종 회동하기로 결정한 것으로 전해졌다.
양측 모두 회동 필요성에 대해 공감하고 있는 만큼 속도감 있게 진행돼 최종 만남이 성사된 것으로 보인다.

Asked if discussions on the supplementary budget or the relocation of the office to Yongsan are also underway, spokesman Kim said, "We only estimate (the discussion will take place)," adding, "The two will talk candidly."
Also, attendants will attend the meeting on the 28th. A Cheong Wa Dae official said, "Presidential Chief of Staff Yoo Young-min and elected Chief of Staff Jang Je-won will be present, and they will have a dinner together."
Summarizing the background of the meeting's decision, including media reports with Cheong Wa Dae, behind-the-scenes contacts have continued over the meeting between Lee Chul-hee, senior presidential secretary for political affairs, and Jang Je-won, reportedly decided to hold a final meeting on the evening of the 26th.
As both sides agree on the need for a meeting, the final meeting seems to have been achieved as it progressed quickly.
