전날 발표한 경남교육감 중도.보수 후보단일화 경선추진협의회에 따르면 중도.보수 예비후보 4명의 단일화 경선 여론조사 결과 김후보가 26.1%로 1위를 기록해 단일후보로 결정됐다.
