[브레이크뉴스=양영석기자] 김해시는 다음 달 13일까지 상반기 소 구제역 백신 일제접종을 실시한다고 5일 밝혔다.
이에 따라 시는 이달부터 6주간 관내 모든 소를 접종대상으로 지정해 724개 농가, 3만3,188두를 접종한다.
구제역은 제1종 법정 가축전염병으로 2019년 1월 충북 충주시 한우농가 소에서 발생한 이후 현재까지 국내 추가 발생은 없으나 작년 8월 충남 홍성군 소재 소 1두에서 구제역 감염항체(NSP)가 검출되는 등 발생 위험이 사라진 상황은 아니다.
이번 일제접종 기간에는 체계적인 접종을 위해 전업농가(50두 이상)는 백신 구입비의 50%를 지원하고 접종 스트레스 완화제를 공급한다. 소규모 농가(50두 이하)는 백신 및 스트레스 완화제를 전액 무상 공급하고 공수의 7명으로 구성된 백신접종반을 동원하여 무료 접종까지 제공한다.
