고양시가 지난 5일 시청에서 ‘한반도 평화 의료교육 연구센터 타당성조사 및 기본구상’ 연구용역 착수보고회를 가졌다.
이번 연구는 한반도 평화 의료교육 연구센터 건립 및 운영에 대한 경제적 타당성 분석과 사업 추진계획, 재원조달 방안 등을 마련하기 위해 오는 8월까지 6개월간 실시된다.

보고회에는 김열 국립암센터 혁신전략실장, 황나미 국립암센터보건대학원 객원교수, 안지호.김용덕 고양시정연구원, 손민수 한국건설기술연구원 등 의료보건·도시개발 전문가가 참석해 일산테크노밸리 평화의료클러스트 구축과 연계한 이번 연구의 기술적.경제적 종합 타당성 확보방안에 대해 의견을 제시했다.
시는 이번 연구용역을 통해 한반도 평화 의료교육 연구센터 건립에 필요한 ▲기초 현황조사 및 개발여건 등 분석 ▲센터 건립의 필요성 ▲기본구상 및 계획수립 ▲타당성(기술적·경제적) 분석 ▲건립 후 관련 사업 확장방안 등 국비사업 건의 기획보고서를 마련하여 중앙부처·국회 등의 관계기관에 사업제안을 건의할 계획이다.
한편, 시 관계자는 “한반도 평화 의료교육 연구센터가 건립되면 남북 협력을 위한 평화의료 인프라 구축, 남북한 의료인력 임상교육, 평화의료 교육, 남북 의과학 R&D 연구 등이 추진될 예정이다”고 말했다. 고양=박정호기자
