브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 정부는 11일 우크라이나의 대공무기 지원을 요청에 '살상무기 지원 불가' 방침을 거듭 밝히며 거절했다고 밝혔다.
부승찬 국방부 대변인은 이날 오전 정례브리핑에서 "지난 8일 한국-우크라이나 국방장관 통화에서 무기 관련 지원 요청이 있었다"며 이같이 말했다.
부승찬 대변인은 "올렉시 레즈니코프 우크라이나 국방장관은 대공무기체계 등을 지원해줄 수 있는지에 대한 문의가 있었다"면서 "하지만 서욱 국방장관은 우리의 안보 상황과 군의 군사대비태세의 영향성 등을 고려해서 우크라이나에 대한 살상용 무기체계 지원은 제한된다는 입장을 설명했다"고 전했다. '제한된다'는 완곡한 표현을 사용했지만 사실상 지원이 불가능하다는 뜻을 전한 것이다.
우리 군은 천궁(중거리 지대공미사일), 패트리엇(방공 미사일), 천마(단거리 지대공미사일), 호크(단거리 지대공미사일), 신궁(휴대용 지대공 미사일) 등의 대공무기 체계를 구성하고 있다.
