고양시는 4월 11일 ㈜NH투자증권으로부터 코로나19 취약계층 및 손실업종 지원을 위해 3억원을 기부 받았다고 전했다.
고양시는 2021년부터 NH인재원(설문동 소재)을 자가격리자를 위한 안심숙소로 운영해왔다.
안심숙소는 올해부터 확진자를 위한 재택치료 지원시설로 운영되고 있다.
㈜NH투자증권은 시설 사용료의 일부를 코로나19로 어려움을 겪고 있는 시민을 위해 기부 의사를 밝혀왔다.

기부금 전달식에는 이재준 고양시장과 정영채 NH투자증권 대표이사, 오영석 NH농협은행 고양시지부장 등이 참석했다. 이재준 고양시장은 감사의 의미를 담아 NH투자증권 대표이사에게 감사패를 전달했다.
정영채 대표이사는 “코로나19로 모두가 힘든 시기지만 기부금이 어려운 시민들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바라며, 앞으로도 기업의 사회적 책임을 다하며 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 펼치겠다”고 말했다.
