안상수 국민의힘 인천시장 예비후보가 공약한 디즈니랜드 및 2036년 올림픽 유치 등 대형 사업에 대해 사회 인사 및 글로벌 투자자들의 이목이 집중되고 있다.
반기문 전 UN사무총장, 원희룡 국토교통부 장관 후보자, 오세훈 서울시장 등이 안 예비후보와 협조하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔다.
이로써 인천 디즈니랜드와 2036년 인천·서울 올림픽 유치가 빠르게 실현될 것으로 보인다.
안 예비후보는 주요 공약 중 하나로 인천 서구 수도권매립지를 2025년에 종료하고 부지에 120만 평의 대규모 디즈니랜드를 유치하겠다고 내세웠다.

이에 반 전 총장은 17일 통화에서 “인천은 대한민국의 관문이기도 하니까 아주 좋은 아이디어라고 생각한다”며 “안상수 전 인천시장님은 경험이 많고, 추진력도 뛰어나시니까 좋은 결과 기대한다”고 말했다.
이어 “ESG라는 공통 관심사가 있으니, 안상수 전 시장의 공약에 관심을 갖고 있다”며 “필요한 내용이 있으면 공유하겠다”고 덧붙였다.

반 전 총장과 안 예비후보는 같은 충청 출신으로 각별한 사이로 알려져있다.
안 예비후보가 인천시장 재임 시절 반 전 총장이 “안상수 시장 덕분에 인천이 상전벽해가 됐다”고 극찬하기도 했다.
반 전 총장은 지난 13일 윤석열 대통령 당선인과 오찬을 하며 향후 국정운영에 대한 조언을 하기도 했다.
이날 대통령 인수위는 “(반 전 총장의) 전문적인 식견을 듣고 윤석열 정부의 국정 운영에 반영할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

인수위는 기획위원장인 원 후보자는 지난 14일 서울 여의도에서 열린 제10회 이코노믹포럼에서 안 예비후보를 만났다.
포럼은 윤석열 정부의 경제 운용방안과 국정운영 가이드에 대한 논의를 하는 자리였다.
인천시장 예비후보 중에서는 경영·경제 전문가인 안 예비후보만 유일하게 초대됐다.
이날 원 후보자는 안 예비후보에게 “주택 정책 등 국토 개발 문제에 대해 함께 상의하고 협조해 노하우를 공유하자”고 말했다.
오세훈 서울시장도 같은 날 안 예비후보를 만나 “2036년 올림픽 유치를 공약으로 잘 내세우셨다”며 “꼭 함께 당선돼서 2036년 올림픽 인천, 서울 공동개최에 힘을 모으자”고 강조했다.
안 예비후보와 원 후보자, 오 시장은 이날 경인전철 지하화, 수도권매립지 대안 등 긴급 현안에 대해서도 협조하기로 했다.
안 예비후보는 “3선 인천시장 안상수, 4선 서울시장 오세훈, 국토교통부 장관 원희룡 삼 형제가 각자 가진 노하우와 경륜으로 힘을 합쳐 반드시 해내겠다”고 말했다.

안 예비후보의 인천시장 출마와 공약으로 인해 외국 투자자들의 관심도 인천으로 쏠리고 있다.
