최태호 세종시교육감이 21일 자신의 선거사무소에서 ‘건강한 학교 만들기’ 공약을 발표했다.
학생들의 식습관의 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 학교 급식을 건강한 먹거리로 제공하고, 이러한 건강한 먹거리를 깨끗하고 안전하게 제공한다는 취지를 담았다.

이어 학교 건강 지킴이 사업을 추진하겠다. 학생들의 건강 상태를 정기적으로 체크하고 다양한 건강 관리 프로그램을 제공하겠다.
다음으로는 친환경 급식 지원 확대를 위한 5無(GMO, 방사능, 농약, 첨가물, 항생제) 급식을 통해 건강한 먹거리를 제공하겠다고 밝혔다.
마지막으로 최 예비후보는 “학부모가 마음 편히 보낼 수 있는 교육 환경을 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 다짐했다.
