국민의힘 김태흠 충남도지사 후보가 4일 오후 3시 천안시 불당동 센트애비뉴 빌딩에서 선거사무소 개소식을 갖는다.
개소식에서 김 후보는 지난 민주당 도정을 ‘잃어버린 12년’으로 규정하고, 이를 종식시키겠다는 ‘필사즉생’의 각오를 피력할 것으로 알려졌다.
이날 개소식에는 김 후보의 후원회장을 수락한 심대평 전 충남도지사를 비롯해 상임선대위원장인 정진석, 홍문표, 이명수 의원과 총괄선대본부장을 맡은 성일종 의원이 참석할 예정이다.
김 후보는 대한민국의 핵심 충남의 미래 비전을 5개 권역으로 구분한 정책공약도 발표한다.
특히 ▲천안·아산은 대한민국 ‘디지털 수도’ ▲서해안지역은 ‘국제해양레저관광벨트’로 조성 ▲홍성·예산은 ‘내포혁신도시’ 조속한 완성 ▲공주·부여·청양은 ‘역사문화관광도시’로 건설 ▲계룡·논산·금산은 육사와 국방부 유치 등 각종 군인프라가 밀집한 ‘국방산업클러스터’로 구축을 5개 권역 정책공약으로 설정하고 충남도를 대한민국의 핵심으로 도약시키겠다는 포부를 밝힐 예정이다.
이 자리에서 김 후보는 선거사무소 각급 위원장 및 주요 당직자들에게 임명장을 수여할 예정이다.
김 후보는 “충남 발전과 도민 행복을 위한 일은 반드시 이뤄내겠다”면서 “무쏘의 뿔처럼 묵묵히 승리를 위하여 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
