브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 3일 이른바 검수완박(검찰 수사권 완전 박탈) 법안 중 두번째인 형사소송법 개정안이 국회 본회의를 통과했다. 이에 따라 이날 오후 열릴 국무회의를 거쳐 공포될 것으로 보인다.
국회는 이날 오전 본회의를 열고, 별건 수사 금지 규정 등이 담긴 형사소송법 개정안을 통과시켰다.
재석의원 176석 중 찬성 164명, 반대 3명, 기권 7명으로 가결됐다. 국민의힘 의원들은 더불어민주당의 입법독주라고 목소리 높이며 표결에 참여하지 않았고, 정의당 의원들은 표결엔 참여했으나 모두 기권했다.
앞서 통과된 검찰청법에 이어 형사소송법까지 통과되면서 검찰의 수사권을 한시적으로 허용하는 검수완박법은 국회를 떠나 국무회의 최종 의결만 남았다.
청와대는 이날 오후 4시 국무회의를 개최한다고 발표했다. 문재인 대통령은 이날 국무회의에서 검수완박 법안을 최종 의결해 공포할 것으로 예상된다.
대검찰청은 문 대통령을 향해 법안 시정을 위해 헌법상 부여된 대통령의 거부권 행사를 호소하고 있으나, 받아들여질 가능성은 낮아 보인다.
한편, 두 개정안들은 공포 후 4개월 이후 시행된다.
