파주시는 5월 5일 어린이날 100주년을 맞이해 아시아출판문화정보센터 지혜의 숲에서 제20회 파주출판도시 어린이책잔치 개막식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 개막식은 고광춘 파주시장 권한대행, 국회의원, 파주시의원 및 유관기관장, 참가업체 대표 등 약 50명이 참석한 가운데 재단법인 파주출판도시문화재단 이사장의 개회사 및 주요 인사의 축사로 시작해 새싹 퍼포먼스와 행사장 라운딩 순으로 진행됐다.

행사는 오는 8일까지 아시아출판문화정보센터에서 진행되며, 다목적홀에서는 ‘북마켓’이 운영돼 출판 관련 단체와 개인이 교류하는 장이 마련된다.

또한, 환경부가 선정한 어린이 환경도서 30선과 어린이날 100회 기념 전시로 구성된 ‘테마전시’도 함께 열린다.
