파주시는 오는 20일부터 22일까지 관내 5개소 지방도 터널에 대해 환경정비를 실시한다고 밝혔다.
시는 시민들에게 쾌적한 도로환경을 제공하기 위해 청소 전문 업체를 통해 자동차 매연, 비산먼지 등으로 오염된 지방도 터널 벽면 및 노면을 세척할 예정이다.

이번 정비 대상 갈곡터널(법원읍 오현리, 56번 국가지방도), 호명터널(법원읍 대능리, 56번 국가지방도), 감악1~3터널(적성면, 371번 지방도)으로, 2개 차선 중 1개 차선을 통제해 청소를 실시할 예정이다.
김달수 도로관리과장은 "이번 터널 환경정비로 터널 이용 운전자의 주행환경 개선과 안전운전에 도움이 될 것"이라며 "환경정비로 인한 교통통제에 대해 시민들의 이해와 협조를 부탁드린다"고 말했다. 파주=박정호 기자
