파주시는 14일 운정호수공원 잔디광장에서 ‘여기는 청소년이 행복한 파주’라는 주제로 청소년 300명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2022년 청소년의 달 및 성년의 날 기념행사’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
파주시가 주최하고 파주시청소년재단이 주관한 이날 행사는 기념식과 청소년 페스티벌로 나눠 진행됐다.

기념식에서 청소년 헌장 낭독 및 모범 청소년·청소년 육성 유공자 30명에 대해 표창장을 수여했다.
청소년 페스티벌은 ▲청소년 동아리 공연 ▲문화, 평화, 진로, 참여 4가지 테마를 주제로 청소년이 직접 기획·운영 하는 테마부스 ▲가족·친구와 함께 하는 청소년 사랑 걷기대회 등으로 진행됐다.
청소년 사랑 걷기대회는 운정호수공원과 건강공원을 잇는 총 3KM 4개 구역으로, 각 구간에서는 코스 인증 스탬프 활동 및 체험활동을 진행했다.
특히, 이번 행사는 청소년으로 기획단을 구성, 청소년이 직접 행사를 기획·운영해 의미를 더했다.
고광춘 부시장은 “청소년들이 행복한 파주시를 만들기 위해 청소년들의 문화공간을 조성하고 미래의 주역인 청소년들을 위한 미디어 역량 강화 등 청소년에게 꿈과 희망을 주는 정책을 추진해 나가겠다.”라고 말했다. 파주=박정호 기자
