파주시는 파주교육지원청과 함께 2022년 파주혁신교육지구 23개 사업에 대해 모니터링을 진행한다고 밝혔다.
이번 모니터링은 코로나19로 야외 활동이 어려웠던 학교가 학교밖 체험교육활동을 시작함에 따라 교육 현장의 반응을 체감하기 위하여 각 프로그램에 직접 참가하여 운영현황을 점검한다.

5월10일 가온초, 갈현초 4학년 학생들의 이이선생유적지 체험활동을 시작으로 마을교육활동가가 참여하는 ▲함께 떠나는 마을역사학교(파주의 역사유적·유물 탐방) ▲파주 생태·환경 학교(DMZ, 숲, 습지 활용) ▲어서와, 평화놀이터(오두산전망대, 임진각 등 평화통일 체험처 활용) 등 지역연계 프로그램을 점검한다.
6월에는 ▲학교안/밖 예술협력수업(자유학년제 연계) ▲평화통일 릴레이 ▲6차산업(농촌융복합산업) 인증업체 체험 프로그램 및 꿈나루 체험버스 운영을 모니터링 할 예정이다.
김윤정 교육지원과장은 “이번 모니터링을 통해 파주만의 특색을 담은 지역 연계 프로젝트를 개발하고, 아이들에게 현실적으로 도움이 되는 교육내용과 개선방향을 찾도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
한편, 파주시는 올해 혁신교육지구 현장체험 활동의 정상화를 위해 80개교에 6억5천만원을 지원하고, 지역연계 프로그램에 참여할 마을교육활동가 148명을 모집해 협력수업을 진행 중이다. 파주=박정호기자
