파주시는 청년 메타버스기획단 ‘메타트’ 1기 회원 10명을 6월3일까지 모집한다고 밝혔다.
‘메타트’는 청소년들이 자유롭게 활동할 수 있는 가상공간을 직접 구성하는 기획단으로, 가상의 세계에서 청년들이 다양한 온라인 축제 및 각종 이벤트를 기획·운영하게 된다.

신청대상은 메타버스에 관심있는 만19세~28세 청년이면 누구나 지원이 가능하고, 파주시청소년재단 홈페이지를 통해 신청하면 된다. 활동기간은 6월부터 12월까지이다.
김지숙 보육청소년과장은 “지속적으로 발전해가는 메타버스 기술에 청년들의 아이디어를 더해, 파주시 청소년을 위한 우리만의 메타버스 플랫폼이 개발되길 기대한다.” 고 전했다.
