파주시는 오는 22일까지 우기철 집중호우·태풍 등에 따른 안전사고를 대비하고자 지하굴착 공사가 진행 중인 건설현장 7곳에 대해 안전점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
이번 점검은 전문성을 확보하기 위해 경기도에서 지원하는 민간전문가와 파주시 지하안전관리 및 건축허가 담당 공무원을 합동점검반으로 구성해 진행된다.

주요 점검사항은 건설공사의 안전관리계획 준수 여부, 지하안전평가서에서 제시된 지하안전 확보방안 및 협의내용 이행 여부, 시공 불량으로 인한 토사 붕괴 및 지하수 유출 위험 여부 등이다.
시는 점검 결과 경미한 사항은 현지 시정 또는 보완 조치할 예정이며, 안전사고 우려가 있는 경우, 보수·보강, 공사 중지 등 안전조치를 명령할 방침이다.
