[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원특례시는 11일 창원향교에서 문화재 활용사업의 일환으로 국악관현악과 함께하는 향교음악회를 개최한다.
향교 문화재 활용사업은 문화재청 공모를 통해 선정되며 2020년부터 3년째 경남국악관현악단 휴의 주관 아래 창원향교에서 ‘전통과 현대의 만남·풍류21’을 진행해 왔다.
창원향교 대성전이 단순한 문화재가 아닌 오감을 통해 향유할 수 있는 공간적인 가치를 함축할 수 있도록 다양한 공연, 교육, 체험 프로그램을 선보인다.
이날 향교음악회는 이른 더위를 식혀줄 독창적인 국악관현악의 선율을 전한다. 관현악곡 ‘고구려의 혼’을 연주하여 진취적인 시작을 알리고 소리꾼 손정현의 신명나는 판소리 ‘흥보가’, ‘난감하네’ 등의 곡을 통해 국악의 매력을 선보일 예정이다.
또한 소금, 대금, 가야금, 생황 등 여섯가지 관현악의 고유한 소리를 들어보는 시간과 밀양며느리로 인기를 얻고 있는 장은주의 노래 ‘나가거든’, ‘아름다운 나라’ 등을 선보여 국악의 새로운 즐거움을 전한다.
