민선 8기 고양시장직 인수위원회가 공식 출범했다.
이동환 고양시장직 인수위원회는 14일 고양아람누리 민선8기 시장직 인수위원회 사무실 앞에서 현판 제막식을 열고 본격적인 활동에 들어갔다.
이날 현판식에는 이동환 당선인을 비롯해 김수삼 인수위원장과 심상정(고양갑)ㆍ한준호(고양시을)ㆍ홍정민(고양시병)ㆍ이용우(고양시정) 국회의원, 이홍규 고양시의회 부의장, 인수위원 등 20여명이 참석했다.

이동환 당선인은 “108만 고양특례시가 세계 속의 글로벌 도시로 도약하기 위해 전문가형 인수위로 구성했다”면서 “짧은 시간이지만 공약을 비롯해 지역현안 등 민선8기가 나아갈 방향을 잡아주시고 시민의 기대에 부응하는 인수위가 돼 달라”고 당부했다.
김수삼 인수위원장은 “이동환 고양시장직 인수위는 시민만 바라보는 인수위가 되기 위해 진정 다양한 전문가들로 구성된 것 같다”면서 “일자리 창출과 기업유치, 도시정비, 교통정책 등 이 당선인의 공약이 잘 실현될 수 있도록 탄탄히 준비하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이동환 당선인은 현판식을 마치고 킨텍스로 이동해 인수위원에게 임명장을 수여했으며, 인수위원 및 인수지원단 등과 상견례를 가졌다.
인수위는 이후 분과위원회별로 업무를 보고받고 정책방향을 논의하는 등 활동에 들어간다.
한편, 고양시의회는 지난 13일 임시회를 열고 ‘고양시장직 인수위원회 지원 조례안’을 의결해 인수위 운영을 위한 법적 근거를 마련했다. 고양=박정호기자
