고양시대화노인종합복지관이 6월 16일 개관 기념일을 맞이해 6월 13일부터 17일까지 일주일 동안 개관기념 및 마을행사 ’8팔한 우리 모두가 대화를 축하해‘를 진행했다.

또한 선배시민 봉사단 ‘마실봉사단’의 뜨개물품 나눔과 ‘대화실버경찰대’의 행사 주도로 선배시민의 모습을 지역사회에 보여주고 지역사회 후원인식개선 교육과 일산서구경찰서·경기북서부노인보호전문기관이 함께하는 노인인식개선 캠페인도 함께 이루어졌다.

행사에 참여한 지역주민은“늘 어르신들이 많이 계셔서 대화복지관이 어떤 곳인지 궁금했는데, 이번 행사를 통해 복지관이 어떤 곳인지 알게 됐다. 앞으로도 복지관의 다양한 행사가 기대된다”고 전했다.
