고양시 정발산동 경기행복마을관리소에서 지난 20일 전화 금융사기 피해 예방을 위한 보이스피싱 예방 캠페인을 실시했다.

이날 정발산동 경기행복마을관리소는 일산동부경찰서와 함께 관내 경로당 10여 곳을 방문하여 ▲수사기관 및 금융기관 사칭 ▲대출빙자 수수료 요구 ▲개인정보 유출로 인한 현금편취 ▲가짜 사이트 접속 유도 등의 사례가 기재된 보이스피싱 예방 홍보 전단지를 배부하며 관련 피해 사례를 알리고 주의사항을 안내하는 등 대대적인 예방활동을 진행했다.
캠페인에 함께한 일산동부경찰서 관계자는 “어르신을 대상으로 보이스피싱 범죄가 늘고 있다. 이번 캠페인을 통해 급증하는 보이스피싱에 대한 경각심을 높여 어르신들께서 피해를 입지 않기 바란다”라고 전했다.
정발산동 경기행복마을관리소 운영위원회 진윤숙 위원장은 “정발산동에 거주하는 어르신들의 안전한 일상을 위한 캠페인 활동을 하게 되어 보람을 느낀다. 동참해주신 일산동부경찰서 관계자분께 감사드린다”고 전했다.
