고양시는 시청, 구청, 사업소 및 동 행정복지센터 민원업무 담당 공무원 40명을 대상으로 민원 업무 역량 강화를 위한 힐링 프로그램을 실시했다고 23일 전했다.
고양인재교육원에서 진행된 이번 프로그램은 대민 행정의 최일선에 있는 민원담당자의 감정노동에 따른 직무 스트레스, 우울, 불안 등을 해소하고 심신 재충전할 시간을 가짐으로써 더 나은 민원서비스를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.

교육을 통해 참가자들은 민원 응대서비스 마인드 함양 및 효과적인 의사소통에 대한 교육을 받고 커피 드립, 우드 버닝 도마 만들기 등을 체험했다.
시 관계자는 “민원담당 직원이 활력을 얻고 재충전하는 기회를 제공하기 위해서 힐링 프로그램을 지속적으로 실시할 계획”이라고 말했다.
한편, 고양시는 직원의 심리상태와 정신건강을 체계적으로 관리하기 위해 ‘마음쉼터 상담소’를 설치.운영하고 있으며 매년 민원실내 폭언.폭행 등 비상상황에 대비해 경찰서 및 청원경찰과 합동으로 모의훈련을 실시하는 등 민원 담당자 보호를 위해 노력하고 있다. 고양=박정호기자
