[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경상남도는 28일 경남도청에서 경상남도 주민자치지원단 1기 공동 연수(워크숍)를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
주민자치지원단 1기 공동 연수는 창원시 의창구 동읍, 통영시 산양읍, 거제시 상문동, 산청군 단성면, 거창군 위천면 등 도내 5개 주민자치회를 대상으로 지난 2일부터 진행한 성장단계별 맞춤형 자문(컨설팅) 결과를 공유하고, 전문가 자문을 통해 주민자치회 운영 전반에 관한 발전방향 등을 논의하기 위해 개최됐다.
공동 연수에는 해당 주민자치회 임원, 시·군?읍·면·동 공무원, 주민자치지원단 등 40여 명이 참여해 1부에서는 주민자치회에서 그간 추진한 자문 결과와 소감을 발표했고, 2부에서는 주민자치지원단 교육 지원반의 운영 전반에 대한 자문 후 향후 추진방향을 논의했다.
성장단계별 맞춤형 자문에 참여한 주민자치회는 “동네 한 바퀴 등 마을자원조사 방법에 대한 다양한 과정을 공유하며 의제 발굴의 중요성을 인지하는 좋은 기회가 되었다”면서, “시·군 조례와 주민자치회 운영세칙 분석을 통해 주민자치회의 역할과 기능에 대한 이해도를 높일 수 있었고, 교육을 통해 배운 것을 적용하여 올해 처음으로 개최하는 주민총회를 제대로 준비할 수 있겠다는 자신감이 생겼다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
최영호 경남도 행정과장은 “주민자치지원단 운영을 통해 주민자치회가 주민대표기구로서 실질적 역할을 할 수 있기를 기대하며, 경남도에서도 지속적으로 지원해나갈 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
