김태흠 충남도지사 당선인이 ‘성장을 통한 발전’을 위해서는 정부예산 확보가 가장 먼저 필요하다는 판단에 따라 27일 정부청사를 찾았다.
김 당선인은 이날 정부 세종청사를 방문, 정황근 농림축산식품부 장관, 이영 중소벤처기업부 장관, 원희룡 국토교통부 장관을 만나 현안지원을 요청했다.
정 장관을 만난 자리에서 김 당선인은 △스마트 축산단지 조성을 위한 간척부지 농지 관리처분계획 승인 등 매각(임대) 지원 △경영이양직접지불사업 지원 확대 △농촌 주거공간 개선을 위한 보금자리 조성 사업 확대 시행 △스마트 온실 신축 사업 공모 선정 및 청년농?후계농 소규모 스마트팜 지원 등을 요청했다.
김 당선인은 농촌 고령화와 인구 감소 등으로 우리 농촌이 소멸 위기에 직면해 있다며, 농업 경쟁력 확보와 농촌 정주여건 개선을 위한 각 사업에 대해 각별히 관심을 갖고 지원해 달라고 말했다.

김 당선인은 원 장관에게 천안, 공주, 논산 지역에 대한 부동산 조정대상지역 지정으로 해당 지역의 부동산 거래가 끊기고, 주택 가격 하락으로 이어지고 있다고 설명했다.
이어 신규 공급 물량마저 없어지며 실수요자들이 집을 구할 수 없는 상황에 이르렀고, 그 피해는 고스란히 도민들이 입고 있다고 덧붙였다.
