충남교육청이 이동형 수영장을 활용한 생존수영실기교육을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
올해는 도내 15개 학교(특수학교 2교 포함)에서 운영되며, 약 4,800명의 학생이 교육에 참여한다.
이동형 수영장 설치학교는 지역에서 활용할 수 있는 수영장이 부족하거나, 수영장 시설 이용이 불편한 학교를 대상으로 우선 선정하였으며, 올해는 10개 학교에 신규 설치된다. 5개 학교는 수영장이 설치된 학교로 이동하여 교육을 실시한다.
이동형 수영장은 알루미늄 홀 텐트 안에 13M*6M 규격의 수영장과 탈의실, 샤워실을 갖추고 있으며, 수질 정화기와 온수기 등을 설치하여 학생들이 쾌적한 환경에서 교육받을 수 있도록 했다. 교육 내용은 충남형 초등 생존수영 실기교육 표준 교육과정을 반영하여 실시하고 있다.
