파주시는 7월 1일부터 대기질 개선과 친환경자동차 보급 활성화를 위해 하반기 전기자동차 구매 지원 신청을 받는다고 밝혔다.

신청 대상은 신청일 이전 3개월 이상 계속해서 파주시에 주소를 두고 있는 개인 또는 법인이면 누구나 가능하며, 전기자동차 판매·대리점에 직접 방문해 구매계약을 체결한 후 구매 신청서, 계약서, 주민등록등본 등을 제출하면 된다.
보조금 신청은 환경부 보조금 시스템을 통해 차량 판매·대리점에서 관련 서류를 제출하고, 지원 대상자로 확정되면 구매자는 차량 구매대금과 보조금의 차액을 자동차 판매사에 납부하고, 판매사가 보조금을 수령하는 방식으로 진행된다.
보조금은 신청한 날로부터 3개월 이내에 차량 출고가 가능해야 하며, 차량 출고·등록 순으로 지원한다. 예산이 조기에 소진되면 사업이 마감될 수 있으므로 차량 구매 시 출고 가능한 일정을 꼼꼼히 확인해야 한다.
