세종시는 1일 세종중앙공원 도시축제마당에서 ‘최민호 시장 취임식’과 ‘세종시 출범 10주년 기념식’을 가졌다.
이날 행사는 제4대 시장 취임식과 시 출범 10주년을 기념식을 연계 추진, 시정 4기의 새로운 도약과 시 출범 10년의 의미와 성과를 되새기는 시민축제로 열렸다.
앞서 최민호 시장은 첫 일정으로 충령탑을 참배한 후 오전 9시 첫 출근에 나서 사무인계인수서 서명, 간부공무원 신고, 내빈 접견, 언론인과의 만남, 세종시교육감 취임식에 참석했다.
오후에는 대중교통을 이용해 세종중앙공원에 마련한 취임식장으로 이동, ‘풍요로운 삶, 품격있는 세종’이란 표어를 바탕으로 한 취임식에 참석했다.

취임식은 대통령, 행정안전부장관 축하메시지 낭독, 시민 축하영상, 취임선서, 취임사 순으로 진행됐다.
취임식 후 시 출범 10주년 기념식은 시민들과 함께 탄생 10주년과 발전을 축하하는 축제의 장으로 구성해 13시부터 사전행사, 본행사, 축하공연 순으로 진행된다.
13시부터 17시까지 열리는 사전행사는 8개 지역 예술공연팀의 릴레이 버스킹 공연과 시정홍보부스, 체험부스, 푸드트럭으로 구성해 시민들에게 다양한 경험과 즐거움을 줬다.
취임식 이후 본행사는 기념사, 축사 등을 거쳐 세종시민대상 시상식이 열린다.
