[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 행정안전부(장관 이상민)는 중앙부처, 공공기관, 지자체 등 335개 재난관리 책임기관이 지난 한 해 추진한 재난관리 업무실적에 대해 ‘재난관리평가’를 실시하고, 그 결과를 6일 발표했다.
재난관리평가는 행정안전부 장관이 재난관리책임기관의 재난관리 단계별 주요 역량을 진단하는 종합 평가로, 국가 차원의 재난관리 수준을 높이기 위해 2005년부터 실시하고 있다.

이에 반해 창원특례시는 보통등급을 받아 재난관리 전반에 부족함이 있음이 드러나면서, 장마와 곧 다가올 태풍 등 일상에서의 재난관리에 더 많은 관심과 책임이 필요해 보인다.
조일암 창원시 안전건설교통국장은 “시민들의 안전과 재난관리에 더 많은 관심을 통해 예방할 것이며, 특히 여름철 물놀이 안전 사고에 대해 어린이들의 안전에 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.
