고양특례시장직 인수위원회가 재개발·재건축, 교통허브, 경제자유구역 등 핵심사업을 담당할 TF 구성을 이동환 시장에게 건의했다.
고양특례시장직 인수위원회는 6일 고양아람누리에서 워크숍을 열고 그동안의 활동내용과 자료를 중간점검하고 토론을 진행했다.
인수위원회는 민선 8기 고양시 핵심 과제를 신속하게 추진하기 위해 (가칭)재개발·재건축 추진 TF, 교통허브 개발 추진TF, 경제자유구역 추진단구성을 이동환 시장에게 건의했다.

(가칭)재개발·재건축 추진 TF는 1기 신도시 및 원당, 일산, 능곡 등 구도심의 재개발·재건축을 신속하게 지원하는 역할을 담당한다.
외부전문가를 포함하여 민관합동 추진지원 시스템으로 생산적인 도시정비와 신도시 정책 발굴, 정책협의, 정비사업 정책 수립 및 협의체 운영 등을 담당한다.
교통허브 개발추진 TF는 킨텍스, 대곡역, 원당역 등 교통의 요지에 대한 효과적인 개발과 활용방안을 마련한다.
대곡역은 향후 6개 철도노선이 교차하는 교통의 요지임에도, 각각의 노선이 개별적으로 설치되고 있어 이에 대한 종합적인 계획과 정비가 시급히 필요한 상황이다.
철도·버스 노선간 환승, 승객 이동 동선 효율성, 이용객 안전 확보 등을 종합적으로 포함한 복합환승센터가 필요한 실정이다.
또한 GTX-A 노선이 설치되는 킨텍스역과 성사혁신지구가 개발되는 원당역에 대해서도 종합적인 교통대책과 지역 연계 개발에 대한 전문적인 계획과 관리가 필요하다.
경제자유구역 추진단은 이동환 시장 취임 1호 결재 사안이다.
JDS지구, 대곡역세권, 창릉신도시 자족용지 등을 경제자유구역으로 지정하여 핵심전략산업인 정밀의료기술, K-콘텐츠, ICT 융복합기술 육성하기 위한 기반을 마련한다.
