[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원특례시(시장 홍남표)와 사단법인 창동예술촌(대표 송철민)은 7일 창동예술촌 내 아고라광장에서 개촌 10주년 기념식을 개최했다.
이날 홍남표 창원특례시장, 김이근 창원특례시의회의장 등 도·시의원, 예술 관련 단체장, 예술촌 입주작가 등 100여 명이 참석해, 지난 10년의 성장을 축하하고 새로운 도약을 다짐하기 위해 마련됐다.
기념식에 이어 창동예술촌의 입주단체인 경남국악관현악단 ‘휴’의 명품국악공연이 이어졌다. 국악관현악 ‘고구려의 혼’을 시작으로 판소리 ‘홍보가’, 창과 관현악 ‘난감하네’, 무용과 함께 어우러진 국악관현악 ‘바람의 유희’, 국악가요 ‘나가거든’, ‘아름다운 나라’의 연주에 관객들은 한여름의 무더위는 뒤로 한 채 K-뮤직 국악의 매력에 푹 빠졌다.
창동예술촌 10주년 기념 축제는 8일 음악과 어우러진 탱고공연이, 9일 버스킹 공연이 이어질 예정이다. 창동예술촌 아트센터 2층 전시실에선 특별전시로 ‘앤디워홀:더 비욘드’가 8월 7일까지 이어진다.
