[브레이크뉴스=이성룡 기자] 김해시가 12일 ‘환경교육도시, 김해’ 비전 선포식을 갖고 시민과 함께 지속가능한 환경교육도시 조성에 첫 발을 내딛었다.
김해중소기업비즈니스센터에서 열린 이날 선포식에는 지역 국회의원과 시의회 의장, 시·도의원, 김해교육지원청 교육장을 비롯해 환경단체, 환경교육 강사, 기업인, 시민대표 등 100여명이 참석했다.
이 자리에서 김해시, 교육지원청, 환경단체 대표는 ‘모두가 환경시민, 환경교육도시 김해’를 위해 공동으로 협력하고 노력할 것을 선포하고 아울러 민·관·학은 다양한 환경교육 사업과 행사를 공동 추진하기 위한 환경교육 활성화 업무협약을 체결했다.
지난해 김해시는 ‘환경교육팀’을 신설, 제1차 환경교육종합계획을 수립했으며 연간 시민 11만명 환경교육을 목표로 올해부터 4년간 66억 원의 예산을 투입할 계획이다.

선포식은 김해지역 10개 환경교육기관에서 운영하고 있는 교육 프로그램을 소개하는 식전영상을 시작으로 ▲환경교육종합계획 보고 ▲시민이 생각하는 환경교육이란?(Q&A 인터뷰 영상) ▲환경교육도시 비전 선포 ▲민관학 환경교육 업무협약 ▲퍼포먼스 순으로 진행됐다.
