경남 김해시는 사람이 많이 찾는 장유도서관과 연계한 탄소중립 체험 공원을 조성하고, 창원시 마산합포구와 하동군에서는 지역 내 관광자원을 연계한 탄소중립 실천 거점을 조성할 계획이다.
