[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 홍태용 김해시장은 22일 지역의 우수기업 3개사를 방문해 사업성과를 격려하고 애로사항을 청취했다.
이번 방문은 민선 8기 김해시장 취임 이후 지난 4일 김해상공회의소 초청으로 기업인과 소통한 데 이은 산업현장 첫 방문으로 김해시의 자랑스런 CEO 수상 기업과 일자리 창출 우수기업의 생산활동을 격려하고 기업 정책지원 방향에 대한 의견과 건의사항을 듣기 위해 마련됐다.
자랑스런 CEO 기업인 (주)엠씨티(대표 최병선)는 자동차 조향장치 제조업체로 2000년 성진테크로 시작해 2012년 법인 전환 후 2020년 테슬라 전기차 소켓, 플러그 등 부품 개발에 성공해 최근 5년간 매출액과 고용인력이 2배 이상 증가하며 유망 중소기업으로 발돋움했다.

일자리 창출 우수기업인 (주)월드튜브(대표 설경숙)는 유압 파이프 생산업체로 1998년 설립 이후 끊임없는 기술 개발로 뿌리기업, 소부장 전문기업으로 지정됐고 최근 인근 죽곡농공단지에 2848㎡ 규모의 공장을 증설해 신규 인력 42명(전년대비 50%)을 채용하며 지역 고용 창출에 기여했다.
월드튜브는 공장 증설 시 중소벤처기업진흥공단의 중소기업 정책자금 30억원과 김해시 중소기업 육성자금 5억원 융자지원을 받았다.
또 냉장고 부품 전문업체인 고모텍(주)(대표 윤일진)은 1999년 설립 이후 스마트 자동화 설비를 갖추어 LG전자 등에 납품하고 있고 최근 자사 브랜드 제품인 ‘꼬모 냉장고’를 출시해 1,000억원 이상의 매출액과 316명을 고용하고 있는 우량 기업이다.

기업 대표들은 “김해시의 중소기업을 위한 다양한 지원 시책에 고마움을 표한다”며 “환경관련 규제 대폭 완화, 스마트공장 보급 지속 추진, 중소기업 육성자금 지원 증액 등을 건의드린다“고 말했다.
홍태용 시장은 “지역이 성장, 발전하려면 기업 지원, 규제 완화를 통한 양질의 일자리 창출이 최우선 과제이다”며 “지역 기업들의 의견을 자주 듣고 애로사항을 해결해 지역경제가 활성화되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
