저소득층 한시 긴급생활지원금은 최근 급격한 물가상승에 따른 저소득층의 생계부담을 완화하고 소비 여력을 높이기 위해 지난달 24일부터 지급하고 있으며, 2차 지원금은 신규 책정자나 7월 지급명단 누락자에 대해서만 지급된다.
경남도는 긴급생활지원금 대상자 발굴에 행정력을 동원하여 누락되는 저소득층이 없도록 최선을 다하였으며 고물가로 고통받는 저소득층에게 즉각적으로 지급되도록 발빠르게 대처하했다.
그 결과 1차 지원금은 현재 96%의 지급률을 달성해 13만 가구에 지급됐으며, 이는 전국 평균 지급률인 93%보다 높은 수치로, 저소득층 생계 지원을 위해 경남도가 다방면으로 홍보하며 신청을 독려한 효과로 평가된다.
지원대상은 생계·의료·주거·교육급여 등 기초생활보장수급자, 법정차상위계층, 아동양육비를 수급받는 한부모가족 자격 보유 세대로 급여 자격과 가구원 수에 따라 최소 30만 원부터 최대 145만 원까지 지원받을 수 있다.
