[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 26일 지역 도의원을 초청해 주요 현안사업을 함께 공유하고 2023년 도비 예산 확보 방안에 대해 논의하는 자리를 가졌다.
이날 간담회는 강용범 도의회 부의장, 박준 기획행정위원장, 박해영 건설소방위원장 등 19명의 도의원과 홍남표 시장을 비롯한 12명의 간부공무원들이 함께 참석해 시의 주요 현안 사업의 추진사항과 애로사항 등을 공유하고 도비 확보 방안에 대해 논의했다.
시는 2023년도 주요 도비 확보 대상 사업인 경남시청자미디어 센터 건립, 창원특례시 민주주의전당 건립, 해병대 창설 기념관 설치, 청정해수 공급시스템 구축, 창원국가산업단지 재생사업 추진 등 26개 사업에 대해 792여억원의 국·도비지원을 건의했으며, 국가공모사업 선정 및 국비 확보를 위해서도 정책적 지원 및 공동 대응을 당부했다.

홍남표 창원특례시장은 “주요 현안사업의 추진 원동력을 확보하기 위해 그 어느 때보다 경남도와의 협조, 도의원과의 긴밀한 협력이 가장 필요한 시점”이라며 “침체된 창원 경제 활력 회복을 위해 내년도 도비 확보가 반드시 필요하다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “현안사항이 적극 반영, 추진되도록 지속적인 정책 공유와 소통을 이어나갈 것이다”고 했다.
