고양시 고양생태공원 새단장

고양시 고양생태공원이 새단장했다.

시는 공원 내 노후 울타리를 철거하고 디자인형 울타리로 교체했으며 편의를 위해 광장 쉼터를 조성했다고 26일 밝혔다.

고양생태공원을 조성할 때 설치된 울타리는 10여년의 세월 동안 노후되어 도심 미관을 저해하고 공원 방문객과 인도 보행자들의 통행에 불편을 줬다.

이에 시는 기존 대나무 경계울타리를 철거하고 디자인형 울타리로 교체 설치했으며 공원 앞 광장에는 공원 이용객들이 쉴 수 있도록 퍼걸러 및 등의자를 새로 조성했다.

시 관계자는 “공원 내 노후 울타리 교체 등 시설물 관리에 만전을 기해 공원을 찾는 시민들이 쾌적한 여름을 보낼 수 있도록 하겠다”고 전했다. 고양=박정호기자
