고양시가 지난 27일 고양시청 평화누리실에서 2022년 고양시 환경정책위원회 회의를 개최했다.
고양시 환경정책위원회는 박원석 제1부시장을 위원장으로, 시의원, 공무원, 관련 전문가 등 24명으로 구성되어 있다.
위원회는 시민의 건강하고 쾌적한 생활을 위한 자연환경을 조성하고 보전하기 위한 환경정책들을 심의?자문하는 역할을 수행한다.

현재 고양시는 자연환경, 대기.미세먼지 등 9개 분야별 현황자료를 공간화하기 위해 환경계획수립 용역을 진행하고 있다.
시는 용역 결과를 바탕으로 고양시의 도시계획과 연계하여 지속가능한 국토.환경의 통합관리를 실시할 계획이다.
이를 위해 위원회는 용역 진행 상황에 대한 보고와 논의를 진행하고 고양시 환경계획수립 및 환경 관련 주요사업에 대한 의견과 자문을 공유했다.
박원석 제1부시장은 “회의에서 도출된 다양한 의견과 대안을 용역에 반영하여 시의 여건과 특성에 맞는 실현 가능한 환경계획을 수립해주기 바란다”고 당부했다. 고양=박정호기자
