파주시는 지난 27일 시청 시민회관에서 제3회 파주 기록물 수집 공모전 시상식을 개최, 공모전 수상자 8명을 시상했다고 밝혔다.
이번 공모전은 지난해 10월부터 올해 2월까지 개최돼 2,201점의 파주 근현대사 기록물이 접수됐으며, 파주시 민간기록물 관리위원회의 심사를 거쳐 대상 1점, 최우수상 2점, 우수상 5점을 선정했다.
수상자들에게는 상장과 함께 부상으로 대상 100만원, 최우수상 50만원, 우수상 30만원의 상금이 수여됐다.

수상자는 ▲기록상(대상)에 고기석(30여 년간의 기자활동 기록물) ▲한반도상(최우수)에 윤종목(한국전쟁기록물 및 일제강점기 학교기록물), 김현우(70~80년대 선유리 마을 사업 앨범) ▲평화상(우수)에 김남열(50~90년대 파평면 한미친선회 기록), 노재한(40~80년대 새말 기록), 이상(90년대 헤이리 기록), 이재정(60~90년대 새말 기록), 최영호(60~80년대 금촌 기록) 총 8인이다.
김경일 파주시장은 “공모전에 관심을 갖고 참여해주신 시민들께 감사드린다”며, “수집된 기록물은 파주의 역사적 자산으로 보존하고 시민들이 활용할 수 있도록 공유하고 서비스하겠다”고 말했다.
당선작들은 중앙도서관 2층 디지털기록관에서 9월부터 전시될 예정이며, 제4회 기록물 수집 공모전은 하반기에 진행할 계획이다.파주=박정호기자
