파주시는 지난 28일 소리천과 운정호수 관람데크에 경관조명을 설치해 특색있는 이색공간으로 탈바꿈했다고 밝혔다
그동안 소리천은 가로등 외에 특별한 조명이 없는 산책로였으나, 이번 야관 경관조명 설치로 안전을 더함은 물론, 볼거리가 있는 야경이 제공된다.

이번에 설치한 야간 경관조명은 올해 4월부터 착공을 시작했으며, 총사업비 10억원을 들여 호수공원·소리천 합류부부터 하류까지 총 1.6km(양안 3.2km)에 7가지 색상의 LED 등을 설치했다.
시는 이번 사업을 통해 운정호수공원과 소리천이 운정신도시의 대표 운동코스로 자리매김하고, 신도시의 중심, 건강을 위한 명소로 더욱 활성화되길 기대하고 있다.

아울러, 호수공원 내 새로이 조성되는 음악 분수, 리버테라스와 어우러져 볼거리, 즐길 거리를 선사할 예정이다.
