[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시 원자력 산업 생태계 복원 및 조기 정상화를 위한 ‘원전금융정책관’이 위촉됐다.
창원특례시는 1일부터 조일래 산업은행 여신관리전문위원이 창원시로 파견되어 원전금융정책관으로 업무를 시작한다고 밝혔다.
시는 지난 13일 산업은행과 원전산업 생태계 경쟁력 강화 공동추진을 위한 업무협약을 맺고 은행 전문직원의 파견을 통한 상시적 업무협력 채널을 구축하기로 했다.
이에 조일래 원전금융정책관은 앞으로 1년간 창원시 원자력 산업 생태계 복원 및 조기 정상화를 위해 협력하게 된다.
특히 원자력기업 대상 금융지원 및 금융자문, 산업정책 자금개발 활용사업 추진, 市 원자력산업 육성 관련 수행사업 자문 등을 지원한다.
더불어 창원시와 산업은행간 소통을 지원하고 현안사업 금융 관련 자문 역할을 한다.
원전기업의 자금조달 등 재무적 어려움에 대한 금융적 대응 능력을 확보하고, 금융전문가 컨설팅을 통한 기업 경쟁력 강화 등 원자력산업 생태계를 조기 복원하는 데에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.
조 정책관은 경남 출신으로 1991년 한국산업은행에 입행했으며, 성장금융부, 기업구조조정1실, 마산지점 지점장, 재무기획부 등을 거쳐 여신감리부 여신감리전문위원으로 근무해왔다.
