[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원특례시(시장 홍남표)는 지난 29일 조명래 전 동신대교수를 제2부시장으로 임명했다.
1일 취임 당일 코로나19 확산 및 진해 석동정수장 유충 사태 등으로 비상 상황인 점을 고려해 공식적인 취임식은 생략한 채, 창원시의회 방문을 시작으로 본격적인 업무를 시작했다.
