[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도의회는 도민의 안전, 경제, 민생 등 주요 현안에 대해 도청과 정책현안간담회를 개최하고, 현장에서 답을 찾고자 현지 의정활동에 본격 나섰다.
이에 따라 1일 지역의 경제현안인 항공우주청 유치와 관련 산업 현장 점검을 위해 사천을 방문했다.
이날 현장 점검에는 경상남도의회 김진부 의장, 강용범 제2부의장, 신종철 의회운영위원장, 박준 기획행정위원장, 김현철 농해양수산위원장, 김일수 경제환경위원장, 박해영 건설소방위원장, 김재웅 문화복지위원장, 조영제 경남도의회 국민의힘 원내대표 등 의장단과 임철규 도의원(사천1)이 참석했다.
의원들은 경남테크노파크 항공우주센터와 경남항공국가산업단지 현장을 방문해 임직원들과 간담회를 갖고 경남항공국가산업단지 공사 현장을 방문했다.
이번 방문은 국가에서 주도하고 있는 항공우주산업 육성과 발맞추어 경남도의 우주항공분야 현안을 살피고 항공우주산업의 메카로 자리잡기 위한 방안 모색을 위한 것이다.
김진부 의장은 “우주 항공분야 관련 사업기관을 경남도에 집적화 하는 것은 지역균형발전을 위한 기틀이며, 서부경남 발전을 위한 중요한 문제라며, 정부에서 우주 항공분야 관련 사업기관들을 서부경남에 집적화할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 도의회는 하절기 도민의 안전과 민생을 챙기기 위해 고수온, 적조, 태풍 재해위험지구, 재난상황실, 전통시장, 복시시설 등을 방문해 도민의 안전, 경제, 민생을 위한 의정활동 행보를 이어갈 예정이다.
